Our Response to COVID-19

Dear Customers

The infection of the new coronavirus is spreading.
We have been using a disinfectant solution to sterilize doorknobs in guest rooms and other areas that guests touch, but we are now carefully cleaning all areas that need attention. We also pay attention to the following points in an effort to raise awareness and prevent infection.

1.Measures in public spaces

- Thoroughly sterilize elevator buttons and handrails that are frequently touched by guests.
- Hand sanitizers have been installed in common areas.
- We sanitize customer room keys.

2.Initiatives for employees

- Employees are required to wear masks as a measure to prevent infection.
- All employees are required to fill out a physical condition management check sheet at the beginning of the work day, and their supervisors will check it.
- In the event of illness, employees are instructed to call from home and seek instructions from their supervisors instead of going to work.
- A manual for dealing with new types of pneumonia has been prepared and is being thoroughly implemented.

3.Requests to our guests

- We ask for your cooperation in taking your temperature when you come to the ryokan.
- Please present your ID when you check in.
(As part of our measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, we have decided to verify the identity of our guests, as stipulated in the Hotel and Ryokan Business Guidelines.)
- Hand sanitizer is available in the common areas of the ryokan, and we ask for your cooperation in disinfecting your hands.
- If you feel unwell, please inform the front desk staff.
